The 6 years she's been gone has been diffcult ones for her family and friends. The memories we have of Teresa are of her smile, laughter and love of people. We were friends for 30 years and I feel blessed that I was there among other family and friends when she passed away.
A "Teresa moment" took place the night before she died. We were all in her room and she started saying the Lord Prayer, we all began to cry thinking this was her time to leave this world, then all of a sudden she looked at us and said " What I'm I saying" we all dried our eyes, with smiles on our faces knowing that we had her for alittle longer.
I had the honor of giving her eulogy, it was a defining moment in my life.
I'm sorry for your loss, Lois. I remember how close you were. And sorry for her family and friends too. I knew Teresa from grade school and up. I will always remember her great laugh and fabulous attitude. She was like sunshine.
